How long does it take to build the website?

We weren’t kidding when we said “Web in a week”! We will start building your website as soon as we’ve received payment to ensure it is done in 7 calendar days.

Do I need to sign a contract for website design?

No! When checking out, you will have to agree to our Terms & Conditions. Other than that, we promise to never to hold your website hostage.

What if I want to change some of the content on my site?

No problem! You will have full access to your WordPress backend. Using one of the two user logins we will provide you, you can navigate to the content you want to change once the site has launched and edit it to your heart’s desire.

Will you check my copy for me?

We do not copy-check anything submitted by a client. We recommend putting all content to be submitted through a grammar and spelling checker before completing your initiation forms. This will ensure that your copy reads well and that no spelling mistakes slip through.

If something does make it onto your site, you will have access to the backend to make any necessary changes after the site has launched.

What if I made a mistake in the submitted content?

Don’t worry! We will be giving you login details to access your WordPress backend and any content that needs to be changed after the site has launched.

Will I have access to the backend of my site?

Yes! We will create two user logins for you:

• One will have restricted access to functionality on the backend and can be used if you are scared of crashing your site or breaking the designs. 
• The other will be the admin login, which will have full access to your WordPress backend with no restrictions on functionality. These login details can be used if you are comfortable with more advanced WordPress work.

Will my website be Mobile Friendly?

Will my website be SEO-friendly?

Over the years, SEO has grown into an industry in its own right. While we will implement best practices for SEO while building your site, ranking high on Google will require more advanced SEO advice or paid campaigns.

What is web hosting?

Web hosting is a service that allows individuals or organizations to make their websites accessible on the Internet. When you create a website, the files, images, and other data need to be stored on a server – a computer that’s always connected to the internet – so people can access the website anytime from anywhere.

Web hosting providers offer space on their servers for these files and the necessary technologies and services to keep the website online and performing well.

Is web hosting included in my Queeek website?

Yes, 12 months of web hosting is included with every website we launch. Thereafter, you can either renew your hosting and maintenance package with us or transfer your site & domain to your own hosting provider.

What is the difference between a web domain and web hosting?

A web domain is the unique address (like “example.com”) used to locate a website on the internet, whereas web hosting is the service that stores the website’s files, images, and data on a server. When someone types a domain into a browser, it directs them to the hosting server where the website content is stored, allowing the site to load.

Essentially, the domain is your website’s online “address,” while hosting is the “home” where your website’s content lives. Both are needed to make a website accessible online, but they serve distinct functions.

Do I need to purchase a domain for my Queeek website?

No, a single domain is included in the purchase of any Queeek website.

What happens after my 1-year hosting that is included in my package?

You will have to renew your hosting subscription and update your site annually to keep your website online. 

We will send you a reminder regarding your hosting package expiration, giving you enough time to either: 

1. Keep your site hosted with us OR
2. Move your site to a different hosting server

Keeping the ball in your court and keeping you the boss of your site

My website is already hosted elsewhere, is this a problem?

No problem. We will load the site onto our Queeekservers and provide you with the necessary nameservers to point your domain to.

Please note that your files and database will be ready for use seven calendar days after initiating your web project. Still, you will be responsible for the timely pointing of your domain to launch the site successfully.

I want to customise one of your templates?

Our layouts are 100% editable once the site has been launched and handed over to you. Although we do not currently offer any customisation, because of the nature of a WordPress website, it is easily editable by either you or an appointed Web developer who is WordPress proficient.
